Mike has been playing guitar since the age of 12, learning grades, chords and scales at school to eventually working for Clives Music school. I was a dedicated guitar teacher here for 3 years before I eventually took over the school and changed the name to Southampton Rock and Pop School.

Mike then spent another 4 years running, scheduling and teaching all ages from 7yr to adult classes. I also taught the Bass guitar, Drums, and Piano. Mike was lead guitarist in two rock bands before branching off to focus on my own solo career as a Music producer/engineer.

Mike has managed to travel the world and travelled performing his music which he says has been amazing!

i now produce dance music, under the alias of “Southcode” and “Mike Reverie” still using lots of influences with the guitar of course.
